A satisfying mouth freshener, with one small reservation about the richness. It has a recognisable after-meal feel. I liked it, just not quite as much as the milder flavours.

This version has an interesting take on the textured mouthfeel. The mix of flavours feels considered rather than random. The aroma is noticeable without being overly sharp. For my taste, it earns the full five stars.

I liked the date-like sweetness, but I would have preferred a milder finish. There is enough character here to distinguish it from a plain fennel mix. I prefer a little at a time, which works nicely with this style. I liked it, just not quite as much as the milder flavours.

The aroma made an impression before I even tried a bite. I found the balance easy to enjoy in small amounts. I especially enjoy the flavour after lunch. I like that it feels a little different from ordinary candy.

What stood out to me most was the date-like sweetness. The mix of flavours feels considered rather than random. The flavour comes through clearly without a lot of fuss. I would recommend trying a small amount first to appreciate the notes.
